Come shop at our 6th annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 9am-1pm. We will be featuring a wide selection of member-and-church grown local perennials dug, potted and ready for your spring planting.

Not to be missed is our selection of favorite annuals and hanging baskets perfect for Mother’s Day gifts. New this year: we will have a selection of locally-grown herbs and vegetable plants.  Our NMCC team of expert gardeners will be available throughout the sale to answer any questions you might have about plants and gardening.

For the gardener who wants to branch out, check out our demos using herbs for mocktails, cooking, and healthy living.  Plus, learn about pests, pollinators and invasive species from our own NMCC Conservation Commission expert who will share “edible invasives” recipes for beverages and sweet jams.

In addition to hundreds of locally potted plants, we will feature our ever-popular selection of preloved garden tools and other garden-themed items.   Bring a friend, listen to a live band and enjoy baked goods while you shop. Until sale day we are never quite sure what we will have, so stop by and check it out.

Rain or Shine.  Ample parking is available in the upper lot across from the North Madison Firehouse on Opening Hill Road.

We are also celebrating ten years of living into our commitment to “care for all creation.”  What began in the spring of 2016 as a small group of dedicated gardeners tending neglected church gardens has blossomed into a vibrant ministry rooted in faith, stewardship, and community.  Come grow with us - body, mind, and spirit —and take home something beautiful from a ministry that continues to bloom.
