Plan your visit
Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. each week plus additional Special Services during Advent and Lent seasons. During July and August we offer Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. Worship generally lasts about 75 minutes.

As you enter the church, a friendly usher will greet you. You will also be invited to join us in wearing a name tag. At the beginning of the service there will be a general invitation for guests to introduce themselves, if you wish say hello. All of our services feature reading, a children’s message, preaching, prayer, and music. At times, you will be invited to stand, sing, pray, greet your neighbor, be in silence, or read responsively. We share joys and concerns and close the service with our special hymn, Shalom.

Communion is held the first Sunday of the month during worship and takes place before Children’s Church, so our teachers and children may participate in this sacrament with their families. We believe that everyone is welcome at Jesus’ table and as such we welcome everyone to participate in communion.
Attire
Some people come dressed in their Sunday best. Others dress more casually. Either way, we believe that God cares more about the state of our hearts than the state of our attire, and encourage you to dress the way that feels most appropriate to you.
Families With Children
All children and families are welcome and cherished at NMCC.
When you arrive, we welcome children to sit with their family and our church community at the beginning of Sunday services.
Shortly into the service, there will be a children’s message or sermon. Following this, children (kindergarten through eighth grade) are welcomed to go downstairs for Sunday school accompanied by teachers and helpers.
For little ones who would rather play in our nursery during Worship, we provide childcare. Our nursery is also available to for diaper changes and feedings throughout worship.
Please note that on some days Sunday school will not occur, but children are still welcome to participate with their families. There are yellow entertainment bags located at the back of the sanctuary if your little ones need help keeping busy.
We are a community that welcomes children and all the noises they bring!
COVID Protocols
We are pleased to continue to host virtual worship via Zoom and FaceBook live from the sanctuary (worship will be hybrid—both live and virtual).
Ongoing tech improvements will continue for our hybrid worship as we grow into it over time.
