URGENT! NMCC Fence Team: Chamber of Commerce Artisan Antique Festival on the Madison Green, Oct 9 & 10: This is an urgent message to the NMCC congregation about the Madison Chamber of Commerce Artisan & Antique Festival this weekend, October 9 & 10. The Chamber has rescheduled their September event that was canceled due to heavy weather, and just informed us last night that the new dates are this weekend! With the Men's Retreat in Old Lyme and the three-day weekend for many, we will be strapped for volunteers to help with the fencing. If you are able please come down to the Green Friday/Saturday. Great opportunity if you have been curious about what exactly the Fence Team does!! There is a job for everyone, of all ages and abilities.
Here are the details for the Chamber event:
Load up cars at the shed at 5:45pm on Friday. We need a truck or 2-3 cars to convey all of our fence materials.
Meet at the Madison Green at 6pm for setup. This is a standard installation that we have completed many times.
The Festival winds down at 4pm on Saturday- we can start working on the zip ties around 3:45. We need to pack up the fence materials, load up some vehicles (Again, a truck would be ideal) and transport everything back up to the shed.

Food Pantry: Food items, especially pasta, cereal, canned tuna and chicken can be placed anytime for the Clinton Food Pantry at the rear of the sanctuary. Thank you for your continued generosity. Holly Francis
Coins for Food: We receive a special offering for the Clinton Food Pantry whenever we come to the Communion Table, remembering those without enough on their tables. Coin jars are available by the pulpit. Blue envelopes (for paper money and checks) are in your pew pockets any Sunday you’d like to support the pantry. Bless you for being generous. Holly Francis
Grocery Cards: Available for purchase from Big Y, Shop Rite, Stop & Shop. This is an NMCC fund raiser. They function as gift cards and NMCC receives a benefit. Calvin Price
