Our Christian Education Team is partnering with Your After School to offer a 2-part course Babysitting and CPR course for Madison-area youth. The goal of this program is to provide a resource for teens interested in developing practical childcare and safety skills, while also supporting our church nursery and church school, in addition to the wider community with prepared, knowledgeable babysitters. The course is open to both church members and youth from the community. The Babysitter course (Day 1 March 1st) will be taught by Elizabeth McCann and Meredith Young and students will receive a certificate of completion from Safesitter. CPR and First Aid (Day 2 March 15th) will be taught by Meredith Young and Steve LaPaglia and students will receive a CPR certificate of completion from ESRI.
