About the event
HOOTENANNY: | noun | an informal gathering with folk music and sometimes dancing (New Oxford American Dictionary)
Have the season and the news been getting you down? Have you realized that the songs you sang in the 70s are just as relevant today? Do you miss belting out "If I had a Hammer" with a group of folk-minded people? Do you have young ones you want to introduce to some awesome songs?
Join us on March 15 for an early evening of inspiring music and sing-a-long songs. Bring an instrument if you want to play or your favorite folk song to sing. Please RSVP so we may know which songs and instruments to include in our list!
There will be a screen for sharing lyrics, enthusiastic friends for accompaniment, and chili, corn bread and beverages on sale for an easy dinner. Admission to this event is FREE, and a free-will offering will be received. NMCC is an alcohol-free facility.
